April 1 Tip Tuesday

"The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people." - Author unknown

Tomorrow, April 2nd, we invite our students and their families to "Light it Up for Autism!"  Autism Services of Saskatoon is encouraging everyone to decorate windows, light up your business front with multicoloured lights or wear bright colours. Use the #LightItUpForAutism in any social media posts.

HPS is happy to acknowledge Autism Awareness & Acceptance month and celebrate the unique voices, talents, and perspectives of individuals living with autism. Every person on the autism spectrum has their own incredible journey, and it's important we listen, support, and learn from one another. πŸ’™

Let’s be part of creating a world that values and respects neurodiversity every day, not just this month.

With April being Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month, Autism Services of Saskatoon is offering free online information sessions to outline all the programs they offer.  If you are interested, please follow this link for more information:

Looking for more great information and ideas to educate yourself on Neurodiversity and how to understand and support neurodivergent individuals?  There are lots of great accounts and one we recommend is "Mrs Speechie P" - you can find her on Facebook and Instagram and we would like to give her credit for a lot of the information shared in this week's post.
